Amateur Radio

Phelps County has a 2 meter repeater available and on the air for use by licensed amatuer radio operators.  We recently added a 2 meter repeater at the Harlan County Reservoir as well.  The local repeaters are also linked into the Axtell repeater system which allows for a wide area network of communication.  This unit is an Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) repeater as well for licensing.

The repeater call for the Phelps County unit is KØPCA and the frequency is 146.895(-) and the PL tone is 123.0
The repeater call for the Harlan County unit is KAØRCZ and the frequency is 145.205(-) and no PL Tone is required
