Duties and Responsibilities:
- To re-establish or perpetuate all lost exterior section and quarter corners that were established by the original government survey, as needed and requested by the county and or public
- To monument and provide witness ties for said Gov. corners and protect the Gov. corners from destruction either by construction, maintenance or public travel
- To maintain, review and file all surveys made in the county
- To establish section lines and county road right-of-way lines for county or township roadway improvements
- To provide legal descriptions for roadway easements, right-of-ways and roadway vacations requested by the county or township boards
